Your Rio EPR system and Rio modules are critical to the care you provide. It holds detailed information on patients, and helps your clinical teams manage workflows. One of Rio’s main strengths over similar systems is its configurability, but over time local changes to configuration or how your teams work can mean that some processes no longer align as well as they did or in some cases lead to clinical safety or legislative in-compliance. A Rio Health Check can help you get back on track.

Essential Health Checks for Your Rio Configuration

A Rio Health Check performed by Servelec’s clinical application specialists helps maintain the smooth running of your system. Each Health Check includes a full review of your Rio configuration plus a fully documented report and action plan.


In safe hands

Each Health Check is performed by one of our clinical application specialists who are all registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have experience of working in the NHS prior to joining Servelec. They’re an expert team with knowledge of Rio functionality and processes for different services. In addition, our configuration consultants have over 20 years combined experience in the technical configuration of Rio, and over 50 years combined experience within healthcare, so your Health Check will be in safe hands.


Choose the Health Check that suits you

We can provide several different types tailored to your service and use of Rio, including:

  • Mental health services
  • Child health services
  • Community services
  • Configuration services

During a Health Check, the Servelec team will spend three days on-site, working with your clinicians and users to understand your configuration and processes. Each Health Check includes a feedback session, plus a report and recommended action plan, all within two weeks. A follow up session can be provided to discuss next steps and walk through the report.

Staying safe during COVID-19: while social distancing is a concern, video conferencing will be offered as a replacement for on-site visits. 

Following the completion of the Health Check, Servelec can provide further support. This could include training, configuration, form and letter development.
