Servelec statement regarding GDPR
As a group that has always made data protection and information security a central part of our business, Servelec welcomes the introduction of GDPR in May 2018.
Servelec is committed to high standards of information security, privacy and transparency and for many years, our robust ISO-based Information Management System (ISMS) has managed data in accordance with the highest recognised standards including ISO27001 (for which we hold UKAS accredited certification), Cyber Essentials (CREST accredited certification) and (in respect of Servelec HSC) Information Governance (IG) Toolkit; whilst also incorporating industry best practices like BS 10012 Data Protection.
Servelec will comply with all applicable GDPR provisions as they come into force, whilst also working closely with our customers and partners in order to meet our contractual obligations for our products and services in all sectors. To ensure compliance, Servelec has already appointed both a Data Protection Officer, Brian Jackson email@example.com, and a multi-disciplinary GDPR Working Committee.
Servelec fully recognises the impact of the GDPR upon our customer base and, as such, continues to be committed to providing technology solutions to support customers’ GDPR obligations, whether as standard features within our product range or as added-value solutions.
If you have any questions relating to our approach to data protection and security, please don’t hesitate to contact your Account Manager.
