The 10-year contract will see Servelec’s Education team work in partnership with Hackney Learning Trust. Servelec's Synergy suite manages all aspects of education services within local authorities. It will give Hackney Learning Trust a practical, clear and reliable way of managing critical information around the education, safeguarding and care of children and young people. The system is expected to be deployed in January 2019 and go live in April 2020.
Synergy from Servelec was chosen by Hackney Learning Trust as an experienced Provider with extensive specialist expertise in developing an Education Management Information System. Synergy is a single system with multiple modular capabilities, chosen by the Trust because of its suitability for managing their complex needs. Servelec was able to fulfil all of Hackney Learning Trust’s overarching principles for appointment using existing Synergy modules and demonstrating extensive education system management experience.
As well as providing case management and assessment and monitoring capabilities, Synergy will also enable Hackney Learning Trust to better manage admissions, pupil benefits, SEN legal obligations, School and Local Authority Governance requirements, as well as Early Years obligations. Synergy will also provide essential web self-service capabilities to parents and carers, such as schools applications, funding, and SEN assistance.
