Our commitment to interoperability and integrated care in Scotland
We often hear from frontline staff that they are hindered by disconnected systems, and need to log on to several systems to do their job. At Servelec, we enable data sharing across care settings, through systems that talk, to deliver integrated care.
Our social care case management system, Mosaic has been a vehicle for change for Dundee City Council, delivering a shift in the way services are brought to Dundee’s citizens – joining records together for Digital Care.
Interoperability changed our care pathways – Dundee Council’s digital case management journey

We appreciate the on-going challenges of reform in Scotland to integrate health and social care services. The legislative strategy of integration and the positive implications for the outcomes of individuals is one which is achievable using Mosaic in Scotland.

Delivering self-directed support
Self-directed Support (SDS) aims to give people, carers and families control over their care by allowing them to make informed choices on what their support plan looks like, and how it is delivered. It enables them to set their own care outcomes, and shaping the budget for how their care is allocated, therefore supporting self-management and independence.
A number of councils in Scotland are already using Servelec’s social care finance and digital case management system Mosaic and we’re working with them to integrate case information with incorporated health systems, improving data sharing for the benefit of service users.
By providing case management on a single platform, a system like Mosaic can significantly improve the day-to-day workflows of frontline staff, freeing up the resources, which approaches like SDS demand. We’re eager to work with our partners in the public sector to make integration work at all levels, by bringing services together around individuals and families to create an unbroken unified process.
