Meet the team

Neville Davis

Chairman

An experienced and dynamic Chairman with over 20 years’ experience in private equity backed businesses, Neville brings a breadth of relevant industry experience to Servelec from technology companies, including healthtech peers such as Ascribe, which was ultimately acquired by EMIS. Neville is also currently Chairman of Peppermint Technologies, which provides SaaS solutions to the Legal sector, and Digital Barriers which supplies global surveillance and security software.

Alan Stubbs

Non-Executive Director

Having originally joined Servelec as a software engineer in 1984, following tenure in a number of different roles across the business, Alan was appointed Managing Director of the Group in 2001. In June 2010, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for parent company CSE Global before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer of CSE Global in January 2011. In December 2013, Alan left CSE Global to become Chief Executive Officer of Servelec Group plc as part of the successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

Following the Servelec Group’s take private in January 2018, Alan continued to lead Servelec and our delivery of Digital Care across all settings. In February 2019, Alan moved to Non-Executive Director role.

What does Digital Care mean to you?

Ian Crichton

Chief Executive Officer 

An outstanding leader with an international career spanning 30 years, Ian has a comprehensive range of experience working in a variety of increasingly senior private and public sector roles, most recently as the Managing Director for Serco’s highly successful UK Health Business. 

Leveraging our unique market position and capabilities across healthcare and local government, Ian is looking forward to building on Servelec’s brand promise of being Together for Digital Care, both with our customers and our people. 

What does Digital Care mean to you?

Neil Laycock

Managing Director – Healthcare

A dynamic leader, focused on making a difference, Neil joined Servelec in 2018 to lead the further development of the healthcare business. Neil is highly experienced in the sector, having previously worked with EMIS and Plusnet amongst other technology and healthtech organisations, to deliver positive results through customer engagement and service improvement programmes."

With bold ambitions to make Servelec the most interoperable vendor in the healthcare sector, Neil is determined to make it happen.

Richard Betts

Managing Director – Social Care & Education

A successful leader on the global stage, Richard is an internationally recognised senior leader with a proven track record of developing customer-focused strategies for delivering business transformation across a range of software businesses, in the UK, USA and Australia.

Richard joined Servelec in 2018 to lead the Social Care, Education and youth services business, bringing with him a solid reputation in developing innovative and strategic solutions involving customers, systems and people that benefit end users by making life simpler.

Garry McCord

Chief Strategy Officer

With a passion for delivering the outcomes our customers desire and a flair for technical delivery, Garry has worked in a variety of roles across Servelec during the past 20 years. In his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Garry leads on the product development of our innovative solutions across care settings and is delivering the technical interoperability between our product range and with those of other industry suppliers, aligned with customer requirements.

Focused on collaboration, Garry works with customers and across our technical teams to make sure our software solutions work for you.
